Prison Ministry...

Pat Shaughnessy has been teaching the Bible to prisoners for over eight years. The desire of prisoners to participate in his classes was so overwhelming that there were often not enough officers on duty to bring them all to his Bible studies.  The Lord gave Pat a rapport with the inmates which made it easy for them to trust him and his teaching.

Hundreds of inmates went through the Basic Bible Truths course, took the tests, and were presented with certificates in graduation ceremonies. Now...due to Pat’s inability to keep up with the demands and in light of other considerations, SFM is placing its emphasis on taking the Basic Bible Truths course to jails and prisons across America via correspondence courses.

If you have a friend or a loved one in the prison system, we would be happy to send them, man or woman, the introduction to the course.  The great majority of inmates who receive the material want to take the whole 12-lesson course.  If they complete the course, they receive a beautiful Certificate of Completion from SFM. We are in the process of adding additional courses.  Inmates may also request cassette tapes of Pat’s messages.  All that’s necessary is for you to fill out a prison ministry request form and the materials will be on the way.
